In an effort to somewhat stay connected with people here in Lubbock and other places, I have jumped on the blogging bandwagon! This should also be a good way to chronicle the great adventure of "travel nursing" on which I hope to embark very soon! I hope to do this for at least a year, maybe up to two or longer. I am currently in the process of saying goodbye to coworkers and friends here, so I thought now is the time to start this up and keep everybody updated. I have no first assignment . . . I turned in my official "resignation" paperwork today and may have hyperventilated for a couple minutes as I realized I am "jobless." I have no idea how long I will be without my first assignment. My goal is to start my first assignment in the middle of September, but, I am fully prepared to be on "vacation" for up to a month.
